About NP Tree Management
A family-run team,
rooted in Hampshire since 2011
Every job is carried out by the same qualified, experienced people who founded and grew this company — not subcontractors. Here's who we are and how we got here.
Our Story
Built on climbing skill, not corner-cutting
NP Tree Management was founded in Hook, Hampshire, in 2011, and has grown into a team with more than 50 years of collective arboricultural experience.
We've stayed a family-run business by design. Every climber and ground operative is NPTC qualified and City & Guilds accredited, every job follows BS 3998, and we carry £10 million public liability insurance as standard. We own our cherry picker, chippers and rigging kit outright, so jobs aren't held up by hire delays or inflated by third-party markups.
That combination — proper qualifications, our own equipment, and a team that's stayed together for years — is why we now work for private homeowners, alongside schools, local authorities, medical centres, and commercial sites across Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire.

Meet The Team
The people up the tree

I founded NP Tree Management in 2011 and have worked in the tree industry for over 25 years. I am a fully qualified arborist. I am usually the first face you will see, because I come out to meet clients and look over the job myself.
Outside of treework
Time with my family and friends, my two children, and as much fishing as I can fit in.

I am married to Neil and I have been involved in NP Tree Management from the very beginning. I am usually the first point of contact when you call, and I look after sending out quotes and getting jobs booked in.
Outside of treework
Mum of two, a good spa day whenever I can get one, and spending time with our English bulldog Hank.

I am the arb manager at NP Tree Management. If you ask me why I chose to be an arborist, my honest answer is that 17-year-old me loved climbing. Eighteen years later, and a few working holidays around the world, I'm still passionate about climbing, even if my body creaks and pops a bit more than it used to.
I love teaching and sharing the techniques and knowledge I've accumulated over the years with the next generation of climbing arborists.
Outside of treework
A six-month-old parrot called Bean, who I'm desperately trying to teach some words he probably shouldn't learn.

I am a fully qualified arborist at NP Tree Management, with a great deal of knowledge and understanding of trees.
Outside of treework
Holidays with my partner, motorbikes and running.

I joined NP Tree Management in early 2026 as a trainee arborist, and I am working my way through all of my qualifications to become fully qualified.
Outside of treework
Spending time with my girlfriend, and getting to as many live concerts as I can.

I joined NP Tree Management in August 2025 as an apprentice at Merrist Wood College. I am progressing well with my NPTC units of competency and I am working towards becoming a fully qualified arborist in 2027.
Outside of treework
I am outdoors whenever I can be, practising my climbing, and I am a keen carp angler.

I am the yard bulldog and the longest-serving four-legged member of the NP Tree Management team. My duties include greeting the crews first thing, supervising every tea break and quality-checking the wood chip as it comes off the truck.
Outside of treework
Sleeping, snoring, and the occasional slow lap of the yard.
